We are inviting you!

Upcoming events and new opportunities

by Marion Austin & Tyrea Davis on October 01, 2021

Welcome

When in need, navigate every resource. That’s what Winner stands for. We want everyone in our community to win. Connecting people to resources and creating collaborative opportunities.

Parent & Community Engagement

Parent and community engagement has long been a focus for schools; however, parental involvement in education tends to decline as children go up in grade, with a dramatic drop once students reach middle school.

It takes a village to raise a child—and the continued support of that village to help the child succeed in school. Family-school-community partnerships promote family and community involvement in children’s schooling, with districts encouraging parental assistance with homework, providing leadership opportunities, forming partnerships with local organizations, and more. When families and community members are involved in student learning, students improve their academic performance and gain advocates that promote their success, helping them feel more confident.

Youth, Health & Wellness

Winner has teamed up with Blessed up Ballers and Rosehill Community Center to provide space and opportunity for our local youth to engage in basketball workout sessions. This not only gives our youth a positive environment to workout in but it creates a safe haven and an opportunity to build great relationships.

If you would like your child to participate
